Christina DeShaw Headshot

Christina DeShaw

Life and Resilience Coach
fuel to flourish

Christina is focused on helping women navigate life with intention and purpose. She loves helping them take the wheel back and begin to navigate life using their values, priorities, goals and passions as their compass. Christina helps women make themselves a priority again and ensures they have the fuel they need to flourish wholeheartedly in life.

Christina has three children with her husband, Brad. Her twins, Ava and Aidan, are eight and Ava was born with a rare congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. She required her first open heart surgery at just 90 minutes old since she also had compromised lungs and has required extensive medical intervention. When the twins were four, Christina and Brad welcomed their son Miles, who much to their surprise was also born with HLHS. Christina knows firsthand the roller coaster ride of parenting children with special needs and/or medical complexities. She is passionate about supporting other moms on the journey and helping them to flourish, not just survive.

Amanda Millemon

self love for special needs moms Coach
Amanda Millemon

My name is Amanda and I have been a special needs mom for 23 years! I was born on Valentines Day and have always loved hearts and love so it makes sense that I know want to help special needs moms with self love. I believe that special needs moms are superheroes!! We have a unique inner strength we have developed from the day-to-day challenges of caregiving. Personally, I have been through all the different stages of life now and can tell you that it the journey of special needs motherhood is challenging with new adventures and obstacles to overcome no matter where you are at in the process. We all have our own unique story, but I want you to know that you aren’t alone! As a special needs mom, I relate to the feelings of overwhelm, isolation, lack of freedom, lack of support and loss of self. It can feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders at times. It’s important to learn to cope and live with these emotions and take care of ourselves so we can be there for our children, our families and most importantly ourselves. We deserve to make ourselves a priority and continue working on the things that matter to us in life. You need to know that you are important. Having a special needs child doesn’t mean we give up on our dreams. We may have to pivot and adapt but we don’t give up. I want to remind you to give yourself the permission to take care of you.

Besides being a special needs mom and supporting other special needs moms like you, I am a Physician Assistant for over 10 years and have worked in Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Urgent Care and the Psychiatric fields. I live in Omaha, Nebraska. My husband’s name is Travis and he makes the most amazing pizza! I have 2 daughters and 2 step daughters. My oldest daughter is 23 and her name is Kayla. She was born with an unbalanced chromosomal translocation (there is no name for her condition as it is so rare). She does not walk or talk and needs help with all daily activities. My youngest daughter is Grace and she is in the 4th grade. She is obsessed with playing Roblox right now with her friends. Cyan is a freshman in high school and just joined the swim team. I am so proud of her for challenging herself. Avrie is in the 6th grade and she loves to read, cook and bake. Becoming a mom filled my life with purpose and I enjoy having all of these beautiful, unique girls in my life. I am so blessed!

Justine Buroker

Life Coach
The Pineapple Project

Justine Buroker was born and raised in Wisconsin, but moved to Minnesota in 2006. She lives near Rochester, MN with her husband, Justin, two kids- Peyton 13, Georgia 7, and their Goldendoodle Lenny.

In 2018, Justine graduated with her Masters in Business Administration while balancing home life, a full-time job, and an online business of her own.

Shortly after becoming more active on social media, Justine discovered her passion for helping others discover the best versions of themselves by being unapologetically authentic.

As a coach, Justine creates a personalized and safe container for her clients to learn and grow without feeling like anything needs to be fixed and also acknowledges that no two clients are the same. That’s what makes us unique.

During her “free time” Justine enjoys playing games with her kids, flipping sports cards with her husband, and live streaming with women from all over the world so that they can share their stories and passions.
